Yoga
is not a religion but rather an ancient philosophy, a way
of being and living. Part of yoga is a series of practices
that allows you to steadily gain discipline, strength and
self-control while cultivating relaxation, awareness, calmness
and composure. Ultimately, yoga is about finding a certain
quality of attention and awareness, which will enhance well
being and enrich every part of your daily experience. As we
learn to practice yoga on and off the mat, we learn a different
way of being/living/working.
I
offer group classes and private sessions. Group sessions are
available at various public locations or can be scheduled
at your or a friend's home with a group of your friends. Private
sessions are available by appointment and are designed for
the specific needs and issues of the individual, based on
age, physical condition/health, body type, temperament and
any other individual goals or needs that when taken into consideration
allow me to design Your Yoga practice.
Sessions
are 1½ hours. Group sessions: $15 per person Private
sessions: $55
Yoga
is about progress, not perfection.
